Teachers on Trend loves RLF

Renee Ross

The gorgeous Ange from style blog Teachers on Trend wrote a lovely blog about Renee Loves Frances, take a read..

It’s all about the love with this amazing Brisbane label and when you meet Renee (the brains behind it all) you can see why.

I first had the good fortune of stumbling across Renee Loves Frances via Instagram and was initially drawn in by the decadent and colourful beads she sold, but it was when I attended the opening of her boutique in Woolloongabba last year, that I was truly blown away.

The boutique itself is picture perfect. Somehow it is light and airy, but warm and inviting at the same time. Dreamcatchers adorn the window, while a delicious pot of West End Co Tea is always brewing at the back.

Each item is perfectly and thoughtfully displayed and you can see how dedicated Renee is to her business. However, Renee Loves Frances is not a recent development. In fact, Renee has been working on her label for about a decade now - setting up markets, designing, sketching, running an online shop and ensuring her clothes are always ethically sourced and produced. This is one hardworking Girl Boss.

Her designs are for every woman, of every body type and size - feminine, floaty and fun. Blouses and trousers, skirts and scarves and dresses to die for, are all on offer. Renee also stocks incredible accessories – beads, rings, bracelets and amazing handbags – think Coachella style! The prices are suitable for all budgets and the sale rack is definitely worth a once over! However, perhaps most impressive, is the woman herself. In an industry that is sometimes considered pretentious, Renee is refreshingly down to earth and real. Warmth and generosity literally oozes out of her and you can tell she really loves what she does. In fact, her brown paper bags are beautifully hand painted with the word ‘love’ on them. You can’t get more dedicated than that!

Oh and if you are wondering who Frances is? Renee will never tell. “Some things should remain a mystery”, she said.

Thanks for reading,

Ange x
