I’ve been wearing RLF designs now for 8 years and was excited to see the Juliet wrap dress back. My favourite is a Juliet wrap in black.
I love this dress as it’s quite adjustable and forgiving. When I went through some drastic swelling, my Juliet and goddess dresses were the only clothes from my closet I could still wear.
I bought this dress as I loved one I got a few years ago with the same cut/pattern. But I was sad to find the material used for this one is a harder cotton that needs ironing. The amount of material in the skirt also seems to have been drastically reduced. The new dress does fit and looks nice on, but because of the different and less material, it is nowhere near as comfortable and my confidence wearing it is also much less as it is more closely fitting and the flap needs to be pinned to reduce the risk of leg exposure. My lack of hesitation to order online has turned into a hell no in the future.
